The MED Talk theme is breaking the mold for the typical seminar agenda, eliminating the long keynote speeches from singular speakers in favor of a more contemporary format using a TED Talk inspired structure. We are creating additional sessions aimed at increasing attendance from a more diverse group of attendees, including technology, operational, and compliance decision-makers.

We will be focusing on Q&A from the audience so come with lots of questions to ask this group of seasoned experts! Whose Customers Are They Anyway? Challenges Arising when Loan Originators Join or Leave a Lender in a Post-“Guaranteed-Rate-Case” World.
This is a bootcamp. Arrive November 6th at 1:00 pm and be ready to identify and address issues arising when production personnel join or leave your company with customer information, loans, or other proprietary data.
Troy Garris will lead attendees through the various risks and protections applicable under Federal and state law in these scenarios, including how to protect the company when soliciting, onboarding and offboarding loan originators. Applicable laws discussed will include the Texas Uniform Trade Secrets Act, and the Federal Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016. Go home with practical ideas ready to put them into effect.You MUST register seperately for this event.
This two-hour LOS Roundtable on November 6th will provide LOS administrators with a forum to discuss common configuration challenges, especially with HMDA and the new 1003 just around the corner. Participants will also have the opportunity to share best practices, and to create a networking group of fellow admins from around the state.
