Benefits of joining TMBA
As a member of the premiere statewide trade association in real estate finance, you will enjoy a number of benefits. Governmental and legislative advocacy, educational workshops, peer interaction and networking opportunities are just a few of the reasons to join TMBA.
Another member benefit is service on a TMBA Committee. Volunteering on a committee is a way a mortgage professional can participate in a leadership role in the real estate finance industry as a whole. Such leadership provides an opportunity to target trends and issues relevant to the mortgage industry with other committee members who are peer-competitors. It also provides an opportunity for creative problem solving, as well as professional enrichment.
The application process is a simple one. We ask that you complete a TMBA application and submit it with a $200 non-refundable application fee. In addition, a sponsor letter is required from a TMBA member in good standing. A sponsor letter is basically a letter of recommendation from a current designated representative in good standing. Once your application has been approved by a majority of the Board of Directors, you will be notified.
In addition to the above-mentioned benefits, you will receive a bimonthly newsletter, weekly legislative reports (during the legislative session) and a membership directory. TMBA also provides "value-added" benefits to its members - we enjoy an affiliation with and offer discounts on Broadcast Marketing Entertainment; DHL; Alamo Rent-A-Car; National Car Rental and for Southwest Airlines travel to and from official TMBA meetings.

How To Join TMBA
- Download the application and complete the membership application (review classes of membership & dues schedule)
- Submit the application and a sponsor letter from a TMBA designated representative in good standing and
- Include the $200 non-refundable application fee
