The YMB is touring the state, hosting networking events aimed at bringing our young - age 35 or younger- mortgage professionals together and introducing them to the value that the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association (TMBA) brings to the mortgage industry.

From our education resources, networking power, Political Action Committee (TMBPAC), and professional advancement opportunities, like the Future Leaders program, there is something for everyone.

Help us find and recognize the future of our industry by encouraging their participation in these networking events. If you or someone in your community/company qualifies as a mortgage industry "up & comer" and is interested in learning how to connect with the TMBA, then we want you to join us as we tour the state.

Residential Construction Lending: A Focus on Pre-Closing

While once a niche product, construction lending is becoming a mainstream and sought-after product solution. Inventory conditions, regulatory requirements, and technology offerings along with other key factors shape the market, allowing many banks, mortgage lenders and private money lenders to create profits and long terms benefits within this segment. However, with this evolution, pressure mounts to understand how to effectively create and maintain a profitable and successful residential construction and renovation program, either from the ground up or as an add-on to already existing business.

Led by Brad Meyer from Trinity Real Estate Solutions, learn about the three phases of residential construction lending, focusing on the pre-closing phase and highlighting builder reviews, collateral reviews, draw schedules and cost breakdowns. Additionally, the Trinity team will reference two of their self-authored construction-specific books, "Introduction to Residential Draw Inspections" and "Introduction to Residential Construction Lending," while sharing many tips to build long term success.

For more than 15 years, Brad Meyer has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Trinity Real Estate Solutions, Inc., a leading provider within the construction lending inspections and specialty property inspection industries. As the architect and founder behind Trinity’s inception and success, Brad oversees the strategic direction and the day to day operations of the five companies comprising the Trinity umbrella, each offering diversified products and services to collectively create a comprehensive suite of residential and light commercial real estate products and services nationwide.

Prior to his leadership at Trinity, Brad spent nearly 25 years holding progressively-responsible roles in a variety of industries, including financial services, real estate closing, and various technological industries. His clear vision and understanding of executive leadership, customer service, project management, and the distributive channel model provides a solid foundation that continuously serves Trinity’s customers, its inspector community and the industry overall.
