Service on a TMBA Committee is a way a mortgage professional can participate in a leadership role in the real estate finance industry as a whole. Such leadership provides an opportunity to target trends and issues relevant to the mortgage industry with other committee members who are peer-competitors. It also provides an opportunity for creative problem solving, as well as professional enrichment.

Guidelines for committee selection require the individuals to be designated representative of member companies of TMBA. The number of participants on certain committees may be limited to allow for better manageability and effectiveness, so please understand that not all nominees may be placed.

As a member of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, you have a privileged responsibility of serving on a committee or recommending committee members for each new leadership year.
